We’re trying something new this year – entering an alpaca in an auction. Since we are traveling to Harrisburg for the AOBA National Conference and Show, we decided to enter an alpaca in the auction that is held as part of the event.
We received confirmation this week that Snowshoe Ginger has been accepted for the auction. Ginger is a beautiful fawn yearling with gorgeous fiber. She is the offspring of our multi-champion herdsire, Snowshoe Aristides, and Cinnamon Girl, one of our favorite foundation females. Ginger did well in the show ring last year and she looks great right now. We feel she will make a good impression at the auction. She’s a real sweetheart and we’ll miss her, but we do have her dam and sire as well as her full sister, Aria.
We hope that we’ll see many of our alpaca friends at Nationals and that we’ll meet new friends from across the country. We’ve never had the National Conference so close to home and we’re looking forward to it!
