Last weekend Snowshoe Farm attended the Empire Alpaca Trifecta in Syracuse, NY. We took four alpacas and brought home four ribbons and a banner!
Snowshoe Aristides, our 4-year old, multi-champion herdsire, won a blue ribbon in his class and Reserve White Male Color Champion. This puts Aristides at 4 Championship banners and 5 Reserve Championship banners! The other three alpacas we brought to the show are all offspring of Aristides. Jinx won a 5th place in a class of 13, Ari won a 5th place in a class of 13 and Cari won a 3rd place in a class of 11. All in all, a very good show!
Next weekend will find the same four alpacas at the Green Mountain Alpaca Fall Spectacular in Essex Junction, VT. We hope to close out our 2012 alpaca shows with another round of winners! Please stop by our booth if you’re at the show.
