All alpaca fiber used in our products is grown on our Vermont farm. We do our own shearing every spring, then carefully skirt and grade each fleece. We send only the very best quality fiber to Sallie’s Fen Fiber Mill to be spun into yarn. Dyeing is done here on our farm using Greener Shades dyes.
Fiber that does not make the grade for yarn is washed and picked for felting fiber. We sell 100% alpaca felting fiber in both natural and dyed colors. We will be adding more colors through the winter or contact us to request a custom color.
