We had a great weekend at the annual Vermont Sheep & Wool Festival. Saturday was rainy and cold but Sunday was drier and milder. A little rain never deters the serious fiber enthusiasts; it was fun to see many of our old fiber friends and meet many new ones. Thanks to all who purchased alpaca yarn, fiber, etc from Snowshoe Farm!
We have a two-week break to stock up, skein and dye yarn, skirt fleeces and get ready for the New York State Sheep & Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. If you haven’t been to Rhinebeck, do yourself a favor and make the trip. It’s a pleasant and very pretty drive this time of year. It’s a huge, crowded festival, but you can’t match the energy of this event. We’re looking forward to seeing many fiber friends there!
