It’s so nice to get through two alpaca shows in one long weekend! Thanks to all who worked so hard to put together the Spring Alpaca Spectacular 2017!
Here are the results for Snowshoe Farm’s weekend of alpaca shows:
Nether Walnut Hill’s Iris
- 2nd – North American Alpaca Show
- 4th – North East Alpaca Expo
Snowshoe Hiaku
- 3rd – North American Alpaca Show
- 2nd – North East Alpaca Expo
Snowshoe Allegro
- 5th – North American Alpaca Show
- 6th – North East Alpaca Expo
We’re especially proud of Nether Walnut Hill’s Iris. Iris is included in this package of three very nice females owned by Nether Walnut Hill Alpacas. We chose Iris to represent this group at the show and she did well with 2nd and 4th place ribbons! The two other females in this package are equally beautiful and have very fine fiber. We can’t wait until shearing later this month so we can get new histograms on these girls. They are for sale individually or as a package for $7000, including breedings.
You know spring is here and breeding season is not far behind because there was a lot of discussion about herdsires among breeders at the show. Quite a few people inquired about one of our newest males, Xanadu P Concerto, whom we co-own with Spirit Wind Farm. Due to the large amount of interest, we have decided to extend the special pricing on drive-by breedings to Concerto until the end of April. Contact us to reserve a $500 breeding to Concerto.
