Now that we’re experiencing some milder days, it’s time to get out the camera and update our sale photos. This is also a good time to do a little lead training while getting better shots of individual alpacas. The other day we took Electra out for a little walk and got a nice pic of her. This female came to our farm as a weanling, has been an easy keeper and has grown to be a healthy and well mannered adult. Electra was recently sold to Mountain Meadows Farm in NY; she will be staying with us until she is bred – to our champion herdsire, Snowshoe Aristides – in early summer. We’re looking forward to seeing what this match produces.
