While much of southern New England continues to dig out from the feet of snow dumped by the storm some have dubbed “Nemo”, it wasn’t a remarkable snow event up here. We received about a foot of very light snow and that gives us a total of only about a foot of snow on the ground – not much for almost mid-February! The alpacas spent most of Friday holed up in their barns due to strong winds and bitter cold, but the sun came out Saturday afternoon, the paths were cleared and Sunday proved to be mild, sunny and calm. Altogether a lovely winter day.
